I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

Actions that are spoilered in the thread, mostly because hate thread where doing all by pm, so observing does not know what really going on in thread.

Spoilered in the thread, but please try to put warnings above and below them, a spoiler is a strangely alluring creature that needs constant vigilance to resist...

How helpful would knowing the other player's actions be?  If it's game breaking, it should be PM.  If it's not that helpful, a spoiler's fine.

Alternate proposal- Spoiler, but with the option to PM, while requiring something like this:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I am happy to just trust that everyone will be mature about the game and not cheat, think of it as a willpower building exercise...

Alternatively, you could put everything in code, everyone gets a different TVTropes page and the text references words or letters by their position on the page...

A Caesar shift would be simpler- just give everyone a number, and throw it in an online coder/decoder like this one.  Crackable, but we're all adults here, right?

Can you use glow to get the foreground to look the same as the background? Offers about as much security as a shift but probably with less hassles. People can copy/paste the text to a simple word-processor, quote the message and search for their name, or possibly just select the relevant text. Or, you know, just leave it at spoilers, an occasional accident will happen, but hopefully nothing too major...

Well, there are different backgrounds for the forum, so I don't think that'll work. Nice idea though

Actually Toaster, I love your idea! It must be the immaturity in me, but that still sounds pretty cool. What does everyone else think?
