i think observers should be allowed to break em, incase they dont want to wait and are willing to put ih the time

Please stop breaking them, otherwise they will be pointless.
I could of told you that this was going to happen.

The codes ARE pointless. If you want something to be secret, use private channels. At least then you have a chance of security.

Do you guys want to continue with codes, or do something else?

I think normal spoilers is much better than this... If someone want to cheat he still can and the "code" only creates problems for honest players\spectators

You could do a different form of code, Each player gets a word and you travel along that word with the A as the letter you are on and when you get to the end you go back to the start, for instance

"How are you feeling today" wit a coding word of "Song" would be

ZCJ GJS LUM TRKDWAM LCQGA

However you would still have the problem that it is hard for spectators, that and i dont think there is a program (may be wrong) that can convert these, even if you give it the coding word, so it would be a pain in the ass for the GM and players aswell

Most cyphers that aren't some form of private key exchange are crackable given enough time.  Anything short of that is only meant to reduce temptation.  A simple ROT13 (the same type of code we're using now, just with a known key) could do that job.  Pretty much we just need to trust each other or go with PMs.

Frankly, I don't care if anyone knows what I did first turn, at least.

I think the code are fun, if we get any serious cheating we may have to change, but for now I think most of the code discussion has been in jest...

Would it not be fair for everyone to do the actions the same way?

Yes, I'd rather everything was done the same way for me, as it would be too confusing otherwise. (It's on the border currently with the cypher codes.)
