Well that doesn't matter too much. Just have to make it output less than a screw pump. The blood pump does look cool, but dwarves don't have that kind of tubing :P

We already have prepared livers... who says they can't extract entire intact arteries from their victims?

I don't think Toady would implement something like that... Too bad, I always wanted to beat someone to death with their own arteries and turn them into a pump.

Hmm. Well, you might be able to take an intestine butchery item (or, tanmod's gut item), and put it through a reaction that put out a pipe section of input item's material, at least...

This sounds about right. Also, the thing is, intestines and arteries don't hold much liquid, so it wouldn't be very fast at all.

dwarf fortress cave-ins make little sense.
if they did, pump stacks would be dangerous to attempt to build in comparison.

Yes, it pumps inward from both sides and the fluid is expelled out the center...

It's hard to see any details, but it looks cool. Even though I can't tell how it's supposed to work.
