What is the lifespan of dwarves?

See the title. Most of my dwarves are 60-90 years old on embark, which seems old to me. Am i embarking with a bunch of dwarf geezers, or do they live for 200 years or something?

Average for most forts is far, far less.

Useless immigrants - Until the next siege
Real soldiers - Until a bad roll in the next siege
Nobles - Until someone pulls the lever of fun
Criminals - Until they're caught by the hammerer
Real, useful workers - Until their criminal friend is killed, at which point they'll kill themselves and each other
