Sacrifices are over rated.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!

Sorry for the long break...
----

The raiding party is set up on both sides of the path.
The party wait till the caravan is in the middle of the group.
You use your malicious energy to confuse the guard.
You tell the young prophet to attack, he sends the signal.

The group jumps out of hiding wooden spears in hands.
The horse is frightened and rears up.
two men take this opportunity and leap forward and impale the horse with the spears, and attempt to dodge out of the way as the horse comes down.
Unfortunitly one man was too slow and is hit on the head, knocking him down, it is unknown whether he is dead or just unconcious.
The merchant pulls out a sword and jumps to the back of the caravan, fending off any spears that attempt to reach him.
The guard is still in his confusion and sways about, swinging his sword in all directions, including at some imaginary foes.
Blows bounce off of the guard due to him wearing chain mail and an effective helmet.
You increase the confusion on the guard, which causes one of the attackers to get a shot in and stab him through the face, knocking off the helmet aswell as decorating it with blood.
Leaping onto the guard, they remove his armour and start impaling him with the sticks till he is dead.

The merchant is all thats left, the cart is surrounded.
Some quick thinking by the merchant is done, as he pulls off the cover and throws it on the attackers.

He then jumps off and stabs the attacker, swings his sword around and runs off into the distance...

the  items in the caravan are revealed, they are of low quality...

Two of your party are dead.
One man and one woman.
5 injured...

meh any chaos, confusion or carnage, is of use to us. Just if "our" side wins, we get to do it again

On a side note...

What do you want to do with the bodies?

Suggestions.
1.Bury them.
2.Chop them up and use for meat... a.k.a cannabilism .
3. Sacrifice them to yourself.
4. Sacrifice them to a neutral god in hopes of turning it.
5. Sacrifice them to a good god as an insult :D

That town is the town you took control of...
Currently the elderly and toddlers are alone with the adolescents to look after them.
The village will be fine as nothing bad ever happens... other than acts caused by you...
And the adolescents have been taught their whole life so they can take over matters when their parents die/ are unable to work.

All the adults are away on a raiding party with the young prophet as their leader.

The sickness has been removed by the town, and everyone follows the young prophet loyally, after all, those who didnt died of the disease...
And therefore they follow you.

Prehaps when the raiding party comes back, the small village would have created some very skilled asolescents who are very endowed with stats...

That or the town will be reduced to ruins...
Possibilitys, possibilitys.

Anyway.

The place you corrupted with EEEVIIIL, continues to slowly expand its ring of influence, evil creatures are now spotted here, it is rougly far away from the town you control, and very far away from other towns.
The occasional peasant gets lost in there, usually eaten by some evil creatures.
The gods have barely noticed this place, and are not really watching it, they will however influence a party sooner or later to invade and kill the soruce of the corruption.
Which is the ground, water and air you injected evil into, and it now has formed into some weird twisted altar to you .

CHOP 'EM UP AND PUT 'EM IN A STEW, THAT'S SOME GOOD EATIN' RIGHT THERE!

Oh, also, confuse the merchant that got away and attempt to influence a nearby animal, preferably a bear or something similar, to attack him. We don't want any survivors telling others of this attack, now do we?
