With Steam, you get to gift the games that you already have. Just gift them to a friend for $5 or a birthday.

I'm not sure you can do that with this package. I ended up buying it even though I had Darwinia and Uplink and when it was in my cart it said I wouldn't get extra copies of the games I owned. I mean, it's still $5 for two games that are normally at least that much each, but just so you know.

With the demo you can join multiplayer games as long as none of the other players are demo. I might come watch.
