Hi!
It's not so much about the pasty whiteness as the games. Casual gaming sort of counts, I guess. Civilization is nice, filth is bad. Nature therefore is bad. Except for the thing about getting our food from it, but that's what farmers are for.
First of all, farmers are getting paid for that exposure (and they probably got a bonus in Greece, just like the rangers :) :) :) :) ). Secondly, we have green houses for a reason :) :). And third, while working on energy creation and storage, they have been successful in breeding lots of algae, so if we could convert that into food stuff, we wouldn't even need soil anymore.
What really is a casual gamer and a gamer?
Well, a casual gamer in my eyes is someone who simply plays a game and may not even finish it. A "real" gamer, on the other hand, strives to achieve excellence in a game. For instance, once you get flawlessly through all levels of a shoot'em up game, you are probably a gamer. If you play through all parts of the biohazard series on ALL difficulty levels, you are also probably a gamer. A casual gamer does not necessarily strive for the challenge, so if offered the normal and an easy mode, with no difference in the content but only the difficulty, I would think a casual gamer would just play easy mode while the "real" gamer would play normal mode and maybe also play easy mode just for the fun of it.
At least that is how I see them.
