Urist: Hey Obok, we are the only two soldiers around here, and I'm tired of these individual combat drills. As your superior, I command you to spar with me!

Obok: Sure, this is going to be great experiencefun! I'll be right back, I must obey this compelling feeling from a greater power to put on some armor.

Urist: No, ignore it! Lets do this!

The militia commander hacks The Axedwarf in the right upper arm with her iron battle axe and the severed part sails off in an arc!

Urist: oops, we should get you to the hosp-

The Axedwarf charges at The militia commander!
The militia commander looks surprised by the ferocity of The Axedwarf's onslaught!

Obok: Tis just a flesh wound!

Armor Shmarmor! Real dwarves wear the skin of their fallen opponents! Awesomely enough, 1 elf gives enough leather for 1.21 dwarves.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Only in dwarven culture is alcohol poisoning a death worthed investigating, while being impaled through several toes, a eye, and a thumb from a spiraling water[3] is not.  Because everyone knows, the only way a dwarf could get alcohol poisoning is if someone put poison into the alcohol.

Dwarven blood types are not A, B, AB, O but Ale, Wine, Beer, Rum, Whisky and so forth.
It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.

Urist McFisherdwarf: There goes that stupid siren again and just when I found the perfect spot. Goblins! Always ruining the fishing. Ah well.

<trudge trudge trudge>

Urist McFisherdwarf: Oh noes! Some goblins! And they have seen me! I shall reverse course to lead them away from the heavily trapped entrance and save our crack military laying in wait beyond! I shall be a hero!!!
