so far the only few ways one could kill off hell would be to cause a hell version of a tantrum spiral but the time it takes for those hard shell creatures to die could mean centuries of waiting for them to off each other.

There's a reason why only dwarves have a relationship screen. They'd be overpowered without it.
isn't a tantrum spiral comes from when one hits another they become a enemy of the civ?
wait never mind TS won't work when hell demons are mostly I think classed as wild.

No, a tantrum spiral is essentially a "For want of a nail" scenario where one dwarf's depressed berserkery sets of a whole chain of depressed berserkery.

The thing you're thinking of is the Loyalty Cascade.

Floor over the pits and you should have enough room to build a fort in the most dangerous wilds ever experienced...

Someone needs to make a community fort based on that!

Walls are empowered by the gods. Yea even, that your walls of wood be immune to the ravaging effects of even the mightiest of hell-bunnies.
