Wow! Spelunker is great!  It feels so deep, like I'm looking into an underground cavern, and I see a dwarf going by every now and again, but the real character is the cavern, just sitting there and dripping water and being a cavern.

I have incorporated all recent tracks to ss, you can get it via autoupdate function. (plus small pack tweaks)

I can not download the sound pack by auto update or by going to your website. http://df.zweistein.cz/

Is your website down?

Great!

The autoupdate worked fine when I tested it, have you tried again in the meantime? Maybe there was a connection problem? Otherwise, maybe zwei knows what the problem is...

Happened to me before once. Zwei says that it's usually a sign that the server is a wee bit overloaded, and if you wait a coupla days it should be fine.

I'm sorry, steakbbq, I'm not sure what is wrong. I checked it again and both the website and auto-update work fine for me. Maybe you can PM zwei? Otherwise, might I suggest you try downloading the soundpack from another computer?

Also, perhaps in the meantime you could be more specific about what's wrong? Do you get a time-out, or is the page completely unavailable?

Or maybe your country is at war with zwei's, and now it's blocked for national security reasons.

there is mirror, you can switch to it by editing configuration.xml and changing autoUpdateURL:

<autoUpdateURL path="http://www.armedassault.info/_hosted/soundsense/au"/>

There is possibility, that you are behind proxy or something like that. In that case, download might fail.

When trying to download New: [tindeck.com] - rdriftwood - Hey Di Lee Hi.mp3

Okay now I am getting an error 16% through the auto update

Error: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 400 for URL: http://www.armedassault.info/_hosted/soundsense/au/seasons/[tindeck.com]%20-%20rdriftwood%20-%20Hey%20Di%20Lee%20Hi.mp3

restarted it and still get that error

The Web server (running the Web site) thinks that the data stream sent by the client (e.g. your Web browser or our CheckUpDown robot) was 'malformed' i.e. did not respect the HTTP protocol completely. So the Web server was unable to understand the request and process it. (Last updated: March 2012).

as I expected the [ in the name were messing up the download, I made a dummy file name [tindeck.com] - rdriftwood - Hey Di Lee Hi.mp3 int he seasons folder and its updating again.

now getting error for

New: Frost Waltz (Alternate).mp3

doing the same thing, making dummy file

Zwei and Dearest SoundSense Contributors-

The only add-ons I use for DF are SoundSense and a tileset. I feel SoundSense is the single most useful program made for DF that isn't written into the game itself, and I just wanted to send you all my regards on this thread stating as much. The sheer amount of work you've all poured into the program is phenomenal, and I hoped to convey my thanks by writing this for the world and Bay 12 to see. I wish I could recommend it more highly than I already do to the Desura/IndieDB community!

On another note, I've recently found out that SoundSense is included in the LNP, which is fantastic. SoundSense truly does make the game qualitatively better and more understandable, and its inclusion within the Pack gets your program out there. It would have been nice to have been acquainted with SS when I first started, especially with the way it impacts report and combat logs--I imagine that most players would agree! With utmost respect and support,

Kamin

at first i was like, well isnt this guy high and mighty, only uses a tileset and this mod... then i was like wait a minute, THATS ALL I USE TOO (LNP) I do use stonesense though, like to see my buildings in somewhat 3d, more satisfying

Hey.  I can't download from the default soundsense server.  I plugged in the mirror I saw here but it downloads at 15kb a second and would take 21 hours.  If it didn't freeze at stab12.mp3 1%.

Someone should probably get their sh.. stuff together.
