great sounds! First visit I made to soundcloud, ever.  Thanks for the links.

Whip Vine, sounded a bit like a railroad song.  Loved it, perfect for learning and laying minecarts to.  Now if I can just find a way to make dwarf hobos, drinking hobo wine over their shoulders via big fat mason jars, and hitching free rides on minecarts.  Images of an adventure seeking dwarf with a stained beard, a stick over his shoulder with a wound-up-tight, old shirt tied onto the end, holding all his possessions inside.

Whip Vine is really a quality song.  Great job.  Makes ya think, great songs do that.  Knutor

Wow, thanks a lot, Knutor. I hadn't thought about the railroad-hobo aspect; i think i agree. I'm sure Toady will introduce beggars and vagabonds at some point though.

:) I hope the name says it all:

These tracks go very well with the vanilla DF music but I was expecting something that sounds pretty dire and apocalytic with a name like that. ;)

I'm guessing it's meant to be more solemn, as a song of mourning. That place needed one.

Sup guys. I made another track for soundsense if it fits somewhere. It's a little jollier this time: http://soundcloud.com/simonswerwer/the-tankard-basher-1

Here are the lyrics:

ucat udir ucat umom
otin necàk otin nashon
ór deb avuz
råsh numol libash thol
råsh numol libash thol

otin necàk otin nashon
ucat udir ucat umom
ór deb avuz
råsh numol libash thol
råsh numol libash thol

ucat udir ucat umom (abod ber)
otin necàk otin nashon (abod ber)
ór deb avuz (abod ber)
råsh numol libash thol (abod ber)

råsh numol libash thol

As you know the language still needs some embellishments (i.e. verbs, conjunctions etc.), but I think this should make sense. I'm not gonna give my translation, though. Go brush up on the Dwarven tongue  :P

Tried to put it to google transalte and it failed :-/

another great track, however I am not sure if it would not be too distracting for normal gameplay - i think it would be great if you could produce three segments - one for each verse, I would then replace or overlay current party anouncements with it, with whole song being used for worldgen.

I actually translated it earlier but it's just a raw translation, it doesn't really look like parts of a sentence have any indicators.

Also if you run into the weirdness with the language raws.  On windows you can get Notepad 2 (I used the zip version to keep notepad intact) and force it to re-code the raws into OEM-437 text files and see the accents and can search for the words with the special characters.

Poonyen, that's fantastic!

It makes me think of a raucous bar dance and Welsh folk music at the same time. :D

And, of course, it is great. I updated soundpack and added it as well as other recent songs.

Also, some minor fixes for ss, r35: df.zweistein.cz/soundsense/soundSense_35_165.zip
