I have no idea why it won't run, something about missing the main class.  Any idea how I might be able to fix this?

Yeah i'm not sure Zwei even has the other version on the site, it doesn't work for the vast majority of people. I haven't had any issues with the experimental version.

Okay, experimental version is no longer experimental, but main release :-)

r33 required java 7, r34 once again requires only java 6, which should fix class version problems.

Is there any place for custom additions for things that are not currently making sounds?
I looked around quite a bit but couldn't find anything for this.  I obviously have the sound pack, but I know that there is more actions from the packskeleton.zip that are not currently using sounds, anyone?

I am not sure what you mean - lines that are not used to play sounds? It is all in skeleton pack.

Got a really great soundfile for death, but where do I upload it?

Any file hosting service i guess.

Since your host doesn't seem all that reliable, maybe you should consider setting up a bittorrent download for the soundpack & updates or something.  I'd offer to host a mirror but I don't even know of a good file host since megaupload went bye-bye.

I explored torrent a bit, but it seems that i would need tracker (any non-hassle tracker service?) and one reliable seed (would http be enough?)

If you need a fast and reliable host I rent two dedicated servers in a datacenter, I can set you a ftp/http access... keep me in touch.

Yes. There was a huge amount of work which went in, all weapons make unique sounds now, shield parrys make the right noise, dozens of wounding and impact noises, and some troll, goblin and dwarf fighting voice overs.

Strange, I cannot find the sounds for punch, stab, hack etc. I mean the sound files are there, but they are not in battle.xml.

P.S. Nevermind, they are in strikes.xml. Why didn't I hear them in the arena?

And I haven't downloaded Stonesense in... like a year or more. The music is amazing!

Is it some kind of a setting? I am playing adv. mode and attack sounds are amazing, but they work like 5% of the time.

I literally do no testing with adv mode so I couldn't say.

The text events are different in adv mode I think. It's something which will be worked on eventually.

Well, arena is the same. Only one of 20 or so attacks produces a sound (that may be an artificial limitation).

So far I love everything except for the death screams. Have you got any custom sounds suitable for death here? It's funny but become annoying with time :).

P.S. And yeah, every attack is displayed in the "console" log.

There should be unique death sounds for trolls, goblins and dwarves. Everything else should make a wilhelm scream - we should probably change it to a generic sound effect instead.

As far as balancing the frequency of the sounds, that's zwei's thing. It doesn't play every sound because in huge battles you wouldn't be able to hear what is going on and the sound program would crash from trying toplay 300 sounds at once.

I'll see if we can figure out a way of making it do every sound for adventure mode.

The new battle sounds should be smoothest for routine sparring in the barracks, sieges, ambushes and other combat in dwarf mode.

I understand why it's done for the dwarf mode, but the adventure mode sounds could be played. At least make it 1-5 per a player's turn (when the program spots a "wall of text" suddenly appearing, play the first few attack sounds).

It's just a minor suggestion but it would add a lot to the adventure mode.

Also a minor criticism on the picking up/dropping sound: it's too long and loud, the "shuffling" I mean. If you could find something shorter and maybe more generic, it would be great.

Everything else is AWESOME. And yeah, it gives me some exceptions when it changes soundtracks:
