Cumulative damage?
« on: June 26, 2010, 05:20:11 pm »

I noticed something weird in adventure mode. Starting out, I'd chuck random things at wolves, and most of the time it'd bruise the skin or maybe muscle. Then I took out my axe, lopped of a leg, and chucked something- now they'd do way more damage, like breaking an artery and getting firmly lodged in the wolf's abdomen. Does harming something somewhat make it weaker in general?

Had the wolf fallen over at the time?  It's been determined that prone creatures take significantly more damage than normal.

currently damage is NOT cumulative, You can stab a human in the hand 40 times and only tear the muscle, unless your manage to stab harder, then you can shatter the bone
