It was the 75% thing I bet, most of the army was dead so he routed.  I don't know what his deal is lately.  I normally don't start two feet from another province, so I'm a little cramped and I don't normally get into wars this early.  I should've at least had a charcoal shield on him, probably some new armor.  War is hell, I guess.  Chest wound though, that just sucks.  And horror mark, too.  Things aren't looking good for Marignon.

I hardly volunteered.  As you said, we must consider what is best for our people.  Sending your nation petty gifts of gems while I sit around and wait for your elephants to turn their beady little eyes on my people would not be the best course of action.

My men, small and squishy though they may be, will delay the elephant onslaught, -not- my gems.

Jeez, what a battle. A dozen or so Goetic Masters casting flares and magma bolts at my advancing skinshifters, felt almost like attacking machinegun emplacements. In the end they were all burning like a bunch of dwarves headed for the booze stockpile.
And they made it. I guess they were regenerating faster than they burned.

Barakael fled, of course.

Oh, and I just saw a Jomonese army in action. That's some serious shit.

I just did.  He got destroyed.  :|  He could've kicked ass if it weren't for the double life on all those skinshifters.  ANywya, I have pretty much no military, no income, I'm calling it now and going AI.  Good luck to the countries who aren't Midgard, show those wannabe vikings who's boss.
