This is fantastic. Does anyone have screenshots of this with Vherid's "Matrix" colors?

Went home and tried it. The results are pretty cool...

This does look fun to try.
For some reason I don't see it on the wiki? http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/Tileset_repository

Not all tilesets are on the wiki, unfortunately. Since it's a wiki, you could add it, though.

bump for this ☼tileset☼ (and topic)

Did the story just ended here, or are there other chapters ? could'nt find out.
And it's not in the wiki tileset repository, with some little help from anyone, would be delighted to put it there.

Would be a shame to let so much awesomeness rot.

Sadly this one may be lost to time. I see no signs of this download anywhere on the web. I had it on an old computer with a previous version of DF but that's all long gone. If we have anybody out there with a copy of this tile set it would be sweet to add it to the tile set repository. It's sad how much neat stuff we have that gets lost to the mists of time in just a few short years when we live in the digital age where storing and archiving information is so much cheaper and easier than it has ever been before.

There's a 10x10 version just a couple posts above; it's the same one I'm using for my avatar.

Added in a couple of missing tiles, trying to keep the general theme going, scaled it up to 20x20.

@Ruludos : yeah, thanks, although I was thinking it was in too poor a quality to do anything with it. But true nonetheless !

@Max™ : wow. so great. thanks a lot, mate. do you actually play with it ? makes me want to follow some guy idea, as to remove all latins caracters to make it more "matrixish". not that I'm a big fan of the movie, just that I suppose it could give a greater sense of immersion, once the awkwardness gone. will implement it to Tileset Repository when I can. Thanks again !

Nah, I don't use it personally, don't like square sets, just wanted to make sure it had the necessary tiles in there.

Salmeuk, why are there so many colors in your screenshots?

Here's the color palette from the OP:

My first impulse was to ask you to re-read my post, since I specifically mentioned that I was using some vherid color palettes for the last three images, but. . .

Now that I think about it, this question of yours could actually be the answer to a unsolved mystery of mine. The .gifs I posted are colored as I see them, and I was using the numbers referenced in the first post. Are you telling me that the golden-yellow and pink aren't present when you view the palette?!

I can see the yellow and pink.

Yes, those are the colors I see. The tileset itself has some colors on it, which will cause those tiles to be colored differently. The blue letters will mix with whatever color from the palette is assigned to them (I think using multiply maybe).
