You rush out of the control room and open doors at random. Whenever you see a captured crew member or two, you order your men to take them to the controls.
Once you're sure you've got them all, you return.
' Right. I am giving you the chance to stop serving your tyrannical rulers and joins us and the revolution. I can free you from their chains! Who's with me?'
The prisoners stare at you blankly. You sigh. The hard way it is, then. You take your pistol and aim it towards the prisoners.
'Alright. Who knows how to land this thing?'
Nobody moves. You shake your head and step forward, the gun still pointed at their heads. ' I ask again, who...'
You are interrupted by a tough-looking bald crew member. ' I can, ma'am. I'll be more than happy to help.'
You don't exactly trust that smile, but he will have to do. You let him take the controls.
The airship begins to slowly descend again. Good, go-
You are thrown off your feet as the pilot drives the airship into a dive, screaming 'For the Empire!' at the top of his lungs. You try to silence him with a shot, but it's way too late.
The airship crashes against the stacks of fuel barrels in the corner of the room. You try to get up and run, but are pushed back down.
Seconds later, the front of the airship disappears in a massive ball of fire.
---
A few things happen when the fuel barrels detonate. First of all, the explosion devours half of the control room whole, including the crazed crew member. The control room, or what remains of it, falls off the rest of the ship with a loud 'crack'. The people still alive are all thrown backwards.
You end up flying straight through the door and into the remains of the corridor. You slide down, and fall.
Once on the floor again, you just and just manage to stand up. There's pain, and it was quite a drop, but you don't think anything's broken. A few bodies fall from the dying airship right next to you. You don't bother checking if they're dead or not, you just need to get out of there.
More explosions shake the massive bulk of the airship above you, and it looks like it's going to crash - on top of you. You ignore the pain in your body and run.
The airship comes apart around you, metal twisting and bending and flames running up it's surface. Two men push through a hole in the wall of the airship, both on fire.
It's impossible to tell if they're your troops or not. You had over thirty men follow you there. How many will return?
You finally get out from under the shadow of the airship and race to a group of your soldiers staring at it in disbelief some distance away. Gedwyn appears from nowhere and steps in front of you, stopping you in your tracks.
' Listen, I don't know why you did that, but there's one airship still intact, and getting up. We can't let it get away!' he shouts, even though you're standing right in front of him.
The shots your men fired from the first airship's cannons apparently wrecked the second, but the third is unharmed and rising, and Armen's platoon has been cut down to a quarter of it's original strenght. The ceiling control booth is still there in the corner, or you could try to take this thing down by some other means, though it seems like the safest option.
How will you proceed?
