North Korea and Monarchies

...I know KNCA isn't the most reliable of news sources, but there has to be a way to verify whatever they're saying!

There is.

Ask Liechtenstein.

That's pretty obvious, I would have thought.

EDIT: He's probably just being polite to the North Korean ambassador, incidentally. The claim that he suggested 'concluding' a peace treaty with the US is either a clever play on words on his part, or a terrible misunderstanding by the reporter on what the word 'conclude' actually means, used in a paraphrased sentence. Probably the latter.

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

The main problem is that I can't search around for what the Prince of Liechtenstein actually said, meaning I have to email them and wait for a reply, which would take a long time, and by that time, I might get bored. All I got was this unrelated article where that Prince allegedly called Germany the "Fourth Reich".

But I guess I really want to know what happened, so...hm...

Well, they started making up crazy as shit news stories, blew up a South Korean ship, and have continued to make crazy as shit news stories ever since. Not a good sign. We very well be reaching a boiling point for North Korea, whatever it may be.

Precisedly. So no surprise here. Anyway, SC has been posting links to official NK news for almost a month. I cant help but wonder what's so fascinating about the Dear Leader's newsfeed.

What DPRK needs to do is learn how to play Soccer.

That's why they sent the whole team to a reeducation camp upon arrival, Grakelin.

If I can disregard everything the North Koreans say, I'd be happy. The problem is not everything NK says is false. For example, KNCA wrote a news story about John Paul Cupp. The problem is John Paul Cupp is a real guy, who you could search on Google and find his rantings. He even had a Geocities site, and a pro-Songun poem which I saved on my computer.

So the North Koreans aren't lying in this instance, meaning they may not be lying in other instances.

I am not implying that every single statement from the North Korean media is a lie. Rather, I am saying that for the most part it's meaningless, either because the events related lack trascendence, or credibility, or both.

I don't really think we have anything to learn from what little truth the North Korean media does dish out.
