The important thing to most of us is - Will you be allowing others to run their own servers?  Although that looks awesome, I don't see myself leaving my current SS13 community to play on a C# server run by Goons if it's going to be Goonstation 2.0.

Yes, almost strictly user hosted servers. We'd probably just run a couple of dev servers.
The idea, eventually, is to keep the main game clean and well balanced. But there will be a scripting component (Possibly LUA) so people will be able to write their own mods.

We're probably going to stay neutral to the whole thing i.e. dev servers will run vanilla. But there'll probably be some additional Gibbed servers up as well.

Bit of both. I'm the current artist but I also did all the sprite work on SS13 to replace the original coder art. We have the original creator of SS13 (Exadv1) around, and he seems excited about the project.

Finally someone with a ss13 remake who has to show something more than a clunky engine and concept art. Congrats.

btw. I always thought that ss13 could use speech bubbles for character speech.

Yes there will be speech bubbles, we just didn't have them implemented in time before our screenshot milestone haha.

That's great. From estheticall point of view, will the characters move (have animations) or slide?
And will there be LOS like for instance in project zomboid so you don't see 360 deg around you all the time?

Wow, so I finally got around to trying SS13 out. What a great, unique little game! :D
Only had a couple of games so far, but it's great.
I certainly see why everyone's talking about it.

I ran out of oxygen about five minutes after my jetpack ran out of fuel, so  was left there floating around until I finnaly die of sufication, and just after I die I hit the station >.< I will KILL YOU SS13 !!!

Protip: I think jetpacks use your air AS fuel. Try to be sparing with the thrust. If pressure drops too low, the jets don't work. Then the mask stops working!
