It won't stay out of my unread replies. It's hard to resist posting. In my experience, if you're banned from almost all forms of communication, you should stop trying.
I was not banned from the server AFAIK but I was banned on the FORUM by ACCIDENT.

I don't think so. :) We've got our own C++ port in the works, which we will likely use.

However, having two versions of SS13 in C++ can't hurt. I'm sure we'll all benefit and learn from each other. :D

This game is awesome, if ONLY I CAN GET RID OF THE GOONS!

Though to be honest, I would much prefer an underwater setting to this game, with wildlife and all, but that's going to pose a little problem for BYOND if we were to implement it properly ( multitile whales etc. )

Oh and for clarification purposes I'm talking about the goon servers.

You could always try Deadly Waters.(Similar concept in a submarine.  Your goal is to make it back to friendly waters)

Well I was thinking that a SS13 in an underwater life would be more interesting, there would be more interesting reasons to GET OUT OF THE STATION, actual jobs like fishing etc. And more ways to grief (flood the station with acidic water)

Here is an idea, for a related(game mechanics, not plot) but different game:

In the <N>th century, intragalactic space travel is common, and the human race is prosperous and rather peaceful. Contact with other sentient life may or may not have occured. Well, peace and prosperity is not universal, there are still criminals out there, and something must be done about them, so the government(s) (Probably a hierarchy of councils, each contributing one representative to the next tier up, or something) came to a solution: Exile them to outer space, leaving them enough supplies to construct a home, and occasionally sending more occupants and materials, but never any technology that would allow them anything close to FTL travel. As a bonus, a new type of reality TV show was born. (Sometimes, a group of people would try this on their own, just for the challenge and fun of it, but in those cases, they usually had an emergency help system set up. Other times, for lesser crimes, a time limit was set, and after that, one of a pair-locked teleporter was sent, as an optional exit. On some rare occasions, one would develop into a thriving community, eventually integrated back into the rest of the galaxy)

Downlaod Byond (comes with Dream Daemon), run Dream Daemon, open up a compiled source code of SS13 click run and make sure the ports are open. Share the ip.
