I'm a bit tired of Rebecca Sharpe's bullshit on TG. Randomly killing friendly aliens, killing the Captain after breaking into AI etc etc.

It wasn't really roleplay. It was just her killing the Captain after he locked her in to prevent her from messing with the AI. Literally beat him to death.

The aliens weren't doing jackshit, and she beat them to death.

Last round, the final traitor had completed her objective and was BUILDING GOD DAMN TABLES instead of doing anything interesting whilst half the crew was dead.

I've sent Head floors, walls and computers are on the way. I would pack them and send them already, but that's A LOT of copy-pasting of the same stuff into the .dmi files, so a lot of boring tedious work :P. I just don't like doing in my short free time (because of exams). But the floors are already sent, so I do it :).

Meanwhile, while I took a short break from my studies I drew this:


0-25-50-75-100% charge images.

I thought that it may be nice to redraw weapons, especially because some of them are not that cool.

This is a laser gun. I play XCOM now so it's greatly influenced by it (although I dont' remember the exact image, I think it turned out pretty close ;) ).

If you like it, I can make more weapons.

[EDIT] I think that handle/pipe were too dark and the contrast on the gun was a bit low... I think I've fixed it.



P.S. Damn, now it looks bad on the background because you can barely see the pipe/handle... Working on it.

And this one is for the captain's laser. It's loosely based on the heavy laser (loosely because I barely remember how it looks :P):

I've made it for lulz, but who knows... Maybe there're XCOM fans between BS13 too? :)

As far as I remember, it protects from fire and stun in addition to great armor reduction. It would be too much, but stun resistance and fire resistance on an item would be good. It could be some craftable item, or a rare object.

It would be like full-body-suit armor, which would be nice to have in the armory. And you couldn't cloak with it?

S'still derivative, though, which bugs me a bit.

A couple, here and there. ;)

I prefer the pistol-sized weapons though. A couple of rifle-scale guns might not hurt for events or stuff like TFTD's harpoon guns (but not, y'know, bright yellow) that's used to shoot tranq darts or whatever, but they seem out of place for general Security use. I can see the Syndicates using heavier weapons than pistols though... hm.

Sometimes I wish BS12 had /tg/'s shotguns.

Nice work so far though.

If I may make a suggestion/request; can we get a replacement for the taser that looks more like a ranged taser/stunning weapon, to set it apart from the energy gun?

Pretty much. It needn't look too similar to the cartridge-based tasers since SS13 stunguns shoot energy bolts () rather than wires and electrode-darts, but they're a decent starting point.
