I looked in the chem files. Iron seems better than Alluminum foam (slightly more durable, but still easly wrecked with bare hands). Personally, alluminum foam is a minor nuicance. At least it's not mutagen-foam! I am making myself an encyclopedia of REALLY nasty grenades and that seems... effective... but cruel. Blinding, deafening, clumsy-ing, Tourettes-ing, etc. is worse than killing in the eyes of admins right?


Oh, and foaming agent doesn't need water. It just works on iron or alluminum(1pacid+1agent+3iron/alluminum).

Flouresurfacent/Foam surfacent/Foam Precursor however DOES. It can deliver any chemical though! Acid/napalm bombs! Mutagen warheads! Antiviral/Spacecleaner Quarentine granades!

Speaking of Napalm, does it work? I tried making it in a beaker and it vanished. The components were gone, but no napalm AND no !!Chemist!!. I should really try it in a grenade. But with or without foam? And should I waste valuable grenades on something I don't know will work?

Oh, and Hyperzine seems to not do anything but cause side-effects. Why? I thought it would... I dunno... caust Toxin damage and give temporary Hulk?

EDIT: Spacelube is REALLY slippery. Even walking people go FLYING when they step on it. HALARIOUS!

Spacelube is a very effective security device. Napalm is disabled I believe.

Grenades will deliver any payload to a large area. I'm not sure if Foam stores the chemical next to it in the grenade, but I know a space lube grenade covers a very nice large area.

I was accidentally acid-foam (non metal just foam) grenaded. Fun times.

Say for example if I made a mutagen grenade, would it be the same as injecting someone with it in the blast area? Does this apply to all chemicals, even something like antitoxins or sleep toxins?

Chemist is easily the funniest job on the station. I was working through the list of chemicals in the source code and finding out what they do. Chemistry needs to be bigger and maybe have a 'chemicals rack' for easier storage. Plus a 'safe box' for more dangerous stuff.

Had my identity changed via evil traitorish geneticist.
I found that the bridge had been hacked into, and the doors bolted open. I then threw a metal foam grenade to seal it, when someone decided I was a traitor and tried to bash my head in. I added water to the Mutafoam beaker on my belt, and (unharmed by the mutafoam) had to run. Until I was finally murdered.

@IHateOutside: Grenades have a lower conentration of mutafoam, so it'd be a lot less mutation. And I don't think it's the same as injecting for everything...

Also, where is the chemistry chemicals in the source? Having trouble finding it.
