The holes signifie direct hits from a weapon.
Maybe if we only had one on the engine directly, and just make it large and sort of easy to block up with walls and windows.
I'm sure the engine would be one of the first places to shoot and an engine exploding would also explain a lot of damage to the ship along with that.

We would need an engine for that  :P
I dont think holes would work so well on the new map.

The wall, on construction would sense if the 4 places of axis around it had wall, left right up down and if there was one it would change it's state to match them.
Like if there was one left right and down, it would form a T joint.

The picture is of an early rendering of what it would be, because I havn't even designed a wall yet.
Also data had me do some for him, but he was an asshole when I didn't quite get what he wanted and then he fucked them up.

Right, this is my first post in Bay 12 after a long, long period in which I stopped coming on here because I don't really play DF anymore. Anyhoo, I'm here to say that baystation12.co.cc apparently doesn't exist anymore. Or something. I dunno, fix it. :D
