Toadwater is a farming game I was introduced to in another thread a couple days ago. Since then I have joined and learned how epic it is. Some features:

-You are a dwarf.
-You can use your own poo to fertilize the ground.
-You can plant trees, plants, and then use them for a variety of things.
-You can make an idol of Armok on a tree, and sacrifice seeds to it.

And more..there is a lot of members only ($5 one time fee) stuff, but it isn't required to enjoy the game. Just to mine, plant pumpkins, and a few other things.

Anyways, I thought it might be pure awesome if Bay12 peeps would want to make a base together. We could work together to make lots of awesome crops, and to *cough*invade other farms and steal their stuffs*cough* reinforce our place with tons of fences.

You start in the clouds, where nobody can get you. Get all your skills leveled up while we decide where to land.

When you log in, you will see 3 objects in your inventory. A Staff (used to walk), an Axe to cut trees, and some seeds.
You should start by clicking the seeds in your inventory. You can now click all the squares around you, and make them start growing trees. You can watch as the images get larger and larger, until your trees all die before maturing. Keep planting seeds till you have a full tree, then get out your axe and click the tree, keep clicking till it turns into wood in your inventory.

Tip: If you run out of seeds, deselect anything in your inventory, and click bare ground for more seeds.

Once you have wood, you can click the faucet tap image in the left while the wood is selected. After enough tries of this, you will recieve a tap, which can be put on a tree to get sap.

Now, just keep chopping down trees while I finish this guide today or tomorrow. Also, it will have images.

Quick tip which will be in my guide once I write it:
Don't move until you have to.
All that is around you in cloud world just out of site is a ton of fences.
Moving just wears down your unfixable staff of moving.

So, you need a staff to move.
Moving causes wear on your staff.
In order to repair your staff, you need to donate money.
Thanks, but no thanks.

The staff never breaks, you just slow down as it reaches the minimum of 1.
Not quite sure how much slower it makes you though.
And donating only gets you another staff.

What a clever idea to make money on your game, design it so it requires constant financial input to be able to move. Brilliant. Why stop at a simple monthly fee when you can get so much more?

This. Also, I'm thinking of it more as a newbie bonus then a 'I have to keep paying again and again and again.' thing.

That message was weird...I hav eno idea what it was about.

Green Bar = Health
Red Bar = Actions in Queue.

Your health goes up over time, more if you are on an old tree.
Also, you can eat the fruit of a tree by pressing 'e', but your POO meter will increase.

The trees have a better chance of growing the higher your skill in forestry is. And it goes up every time you plant a tree. So just keep planting. I only have like 20% chance of any of my starter trees of surviving currently.


Also, buy radish seeds, and plant them. In an hour you'll have plants to heal yourself with.

I'm working to buff up my Whittling skill so I can make a Ponderosa idol.
