Youtube Vuvuzela Madness

What the hell is it!? Whenever I turn it on, the video has some annyoing infinate loop sound played over it. It kinda looks like a soccer ball, but I don't see the connection. See any video, or here if lazy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZ97N4pDEA0

They also won the DMCA case against Viacom. Viacom are total bastards, but I doubt Youtube's victory is good for the users either.

Are you kidding? It gives you free range to upload pirated stuff while they merely have to make it appear they are going after some of it. If they had lost the case, they probably would have cracked down on pirated stuff so as to avoid more lawsuits under the new precendent. Now they are free to go about business as usual. :)

I love it when an institution proves that there actually is a live person with a functioning brain somewhere high enough in the system to do weird things just for the heck of it.  Vuvuzela effect for all videos.  Great.
