We aren't resilient to the extinction cycle. Just lucky enough to avoid it so far. And the more we expand our knowlage, the better chance we'll have.

Humans are animals, and mollusks are animals, but mollusks are not men. My statement is not one of petty classifications but of the way humans interact with their enviroment that is entirely unique. We change it dramatically. We change ourselves to suit it as well. And ultimately we don't need it.

And I never said 'infinite' people can live on Earth. I said Earth does not have a carrying capacity.

So it's lack of a carrying capacity allows it to hold infinite people?

Anyhow, I can't wait until we find another rock to live on! It'll be great fun, so long as there's a way to extend the internet through hyperspace(?).

Don't be ridiculous. There's not enough matter in the universe to have an infinite number of people.

It's all right, there aren't enough people in the universe to make infinite matter.

Well that was fruitless.

My son is officially above average. He's rolling over in bed and holding up his own head after only three weeks. This is very unusual. My daughter also definately understands how mirrors work, as I caught her putting on a bunny-ear headband while looking in a mirror and giggling to herself.

Tell us when your son starts making higher facial expressions, most likely a smile. Standard is six months five weeks.

Does pouting, wide-eyed wonder, serenity, and purposeful severity count?

I read that as purposeful servitude. I was very worried for about half a second.

The fact that I was concerned should indicate that I am not, in fact, a fan of that particular... genre? Style? Creepy-as-fuckitude?

Whatever. I'm not a fan.
