Actually my daughter has been passing the mirror test for months now. Maybe other babies are retarded?

How old is your daughter, and when did she begin to pass the mirror test? Mental development is not set in stone, she could be ahead of the competition.

Well, either the mirror test is flawed (and it very well might be, many dispute it's effectiveness) or your daughter is running at 200% mental development.

My sources are quite clear. The mirror test is normaly passed by humans at 18 months of age, but many, many people think the test is flawed and relies on training the subject to a degree.

I could tell what was in the mirror by the time I was 14, it's the rest of you who must be mentally handicapped.

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

Grakelin, those are supposed to be month, not years.

How do you work out if such a young child has passed the mirror test, again?

Also, our house has a few... weird elements.  Like the wall so thin my brother accidentally kicked a hole in it.  And the fact there's only 1 room downstairs...

Living in a house as old as mine has been weird. We recently replaced our shower, and we discovered that there used to be two doorways in that part of our bathroom. Also, the shower was literally just glued to a couple of two-by-fours and the pipes were duct taped to the two-by-fours. All of this was behind old-fashioned hollow plaster walls.
