Never had this problem with the standalone client on the old server :|

If it doesn't go after sitting for a minute or two, yer gonna' have to refresh. I had the same thing happen with th'standalone on server one, so it's not a server two thing. It usually takes somewhere between 5 an' 10 refreshes before I get through to th'login screen

That is all you need to know. You won't need to go to other rooms anyways.
(You can put anything after /room to make a new room, too.)
