Right.
When shaman, you have things to spawn bottom right.
Click one of them, and it is spawnable.
You have to be near where you want it to be spawned for it to be spawned.
Hold the LMB to spawn it.
For joints, a b is a hinge (seesaws etc). C is a fixed joint, press C more to switch where the yellow dot is.
B and N do other stuff that help says, such as motors etc.

You'll become ten times better once you learn how to use anchors. A popular tactic seems to be bracing a red anchored board against a wall and attaching boards to it to make a bridge. also if you press space you'll make a ghost object. Ghosts interact with other objects normally but players can pass through them. Helpful if you need to use an anvil to anchor something without blocking the hole.

Oh, and if there's two shamans and the mouseholes have a coloured outline, kill the other shaman. You get more points if the mice go in your hole (the colour of your name is the colour you are), so it's best to kill the other shaman.

and if you go to http://www.transformice.com/en/chargeur etc and it says loading just wait.
