Edit: I find anvil-blimps to be reasonably stable. Anvil-Plank-Anvil, with a box in the middle of the plank for steering. 6 balloons gets it skyward.

I saw somebody successfully make a balloon lift/airship. He used an anchored rune at the bottom to constantly steer it towards where he wanted it to go.

One level has a small platform and is otherwise empty.

Aside from a very high cheese.

I was the shaman.

I made a wooden/balloon structure to raise my mice to cheese

Then I fell off it, and they just sorta floated off the edge of the map.

Priceless.

Move as necessary to not die if it's a moving-floor level, spawn large board with yellow C-joint on the end of it, pressing spacebar to make it transparent, welded to the center of the fan

That makes me vaguely curious what happens when you try that on the free-floating one 

Obviously it's not going to do terribly much, but I actually haven't seen someone try it yet. Most shamans capable of not ending themselves (and 90% of the other mice, of course) in short order have the braincells rubbing together necessary to bridge th'thing...

Much more fun to attach a large plank to the end of one of the fan spokes with a blue joint. Cleans out the map in no time at all.

Much more fun to attach a large plank to the end of one of the fan spokes with a blue joint. Cleans out the map in no time at all.

Make additional red joint planks that spin like they are gears. Then catapult yourself and your fellow mice (if any are left) to each side of the map.

If you stop the board but it's vertical in a position that doesn't let meeces though you can make another smaller plank at the end of it to push it up a bit, but you have to be careful.

I have done some additional testing regarding balloons.

Balloon, singular, can lift up one side of pancake god.

Balloon, singular, can lift up even those massive logs you see occasionally that inevitably flip.

If you move fast enough, you can lift said plank straight up with a pair of balloons.
