And he still did a better job dealing with Katrina than Obama as even _tried_ to do with the oil spill.  I mean 57 days before he even started to deliver an actual response instead of just photo-ops?  So if Bush was stupid... what does that make Obama exactly?  So super intelligent that he's paralyzed by the possibilities of what he repeatedly says he can't do?

Bush wasted weeks while people were dying and getting raped and fuckloads more without delivering humanitarian aid to an american city.  American presidents have the ability to make sure that humanitarian aid gets delivered to an american city.

The Gulf coast does not currently need humanitarian aid.  It needs the damn oil leak to stop.  And that is something that nobody can do.

Ask yourself this: how many scandels have there been around the BP spill?  How many oil booms sat around for weeks unused?  How many essential packages went undelivered?  How much expert advice wasn't put to use?  How many people were the victims of government apathy?

Whereas with Katrina...

Eh, conspiracy theories never stand up to logical debunking. They usually end up becoming more and more improbable as they mature and people either abandon the idea or they become fanatically religious about it. The latter, it really is impossible to "disprove" them because they interpret lies as truth and the truth as lies and there isn't anything you can do about it. It becomes a set belief and they will never be dislodged from their belief.

This topic is somewhat of interest to me because I've been working on a conspiracy theory designed to be very difficult to disprove without expert, specialized knowledge in a field I am somewhat knowledgeable in. Its also an extremely far-fetched and antagonistic theory to boot.

Although usually when I present my theory, somebody always comes along and finds some caveat in my theory that blows apart the entire premise apart.
