yeah i noticed that. i was just down there looking to kill a hydra with my "legendary wrestling" and there was massive craploads of bone trinkets and such on the floor (one spot had EVERY tile covered in it) unfortunately i was strangled to death by a troll before i could see how good cave swallow men are. and yeah they were friendly, but not to troglodytes.

Troglodytes are normal animals, and are very aggressive, so nothing weird about him fighting them.
People have noted cave-swallow-men will often be comparatively luckier than other beast men in combat, and there have been several instances of them killing difficult adversaries. They're probably identical in combat to others really, just we've noticed them being awesome so much more.
