Hi!
Huesoo: The bolding has too primary functions:
1. Making important words easy to find (especially in longer posts) so people can respond easily to individual points or locate information/arguments they want to get into detail after reading the whole more easily.
2. Marking user names. Personally, I believe that talking about people behind their back is not really a good thing. Therefore, I try to mark user names using bold face so that they can easily see that I am talking about them and thus correct any incorrect statements I may have made.
Well, the emoticon is meant to express emotion, I guess (^_^;;
This one expresses somewhat being embarrassed or feeling odd about something. I mean, in the previous post, I didn't notice someone was trying to ruffle me up until the site owner contacted me about that - usually such things work the other way around. I guess you could call me dense there.
ChairmanPoo: Since I missed half of the action, I can't say for sure, but it seems that they were people who got enraged by my style of posting.

EDIT: (I posted this without including these before because people were posting too fast and I wanted to get this posted today)
Grakelin: I think of the options you offer, OCD comes closest to my reasoning.
Nenjin: :) :) :) :) :)
Actually, if I wanted to say "Fuck you!", I would probably not place the "Hi!" in front of the post in order to indicate an additional level of disrespect (as the "Hi!" is a token of respect in my eyes).
So, the best you can hope for would be:
Drop dead!

:) :) :)
But I highly doubt that someone will push me to make such rather crude and inappropriate statements.
KaelGotDwarves: Actually, you are touching upon a pet peeve of mine: I am not a furry and I would rather not be associated with them as a) they tend to have rather different interests, b) they are a group that has a bad reputation (I can not judge whether that is deserved or not).
