It's much more comfortable to believe that someone is an intelligent individual saying/behaving in deliberately insane things/ways (preferably funny insane things/ways), than to believe that they're being serious. It also has the benefit of pissing off people who generally fall into the latter category, thus punishing their oversensitivity with stress, and wasting their time as they respond with violent flames of 12-year-oldness.

So long as the bad types of trolls (especially the ones who don't think they're trolling) are kept down, I don't give a a shit. Besides, pathos and grakelin's antics tend to be hilarious, it'd be sad to see them go.

It's my understanding that "Various Nonsense" was done away with and the "Finally..." forums were instated for the purpose of making sure that people on the forums are actually talking about things instead of just running around acting like complete fools constantly. Seriously, that kind of shit makes me (and others) not want to post here.

I don't think he is. I'm saying he comes off as one and it's difficult to tell the difference until you've read his posts for a while. And no matter whether or not he's a troll, he's extremely hostile, which isn't a good attitude to have if you want to stay on this site.

That's an extremely vague statement because there are a damn near infinite number of ways to "have a good time", and there's no place intended to serve all of them.
