Evil Michigan

East and West Ohio have different accents, and also depending on how far into the rural parts you get into. I felt myself turning into a Kentucky hick while I spent my time in the south-east side, along the river.

One friend, who had liked me at the time and lived all of five minutes into the border, took offense to me making a joke about dentists in Kentucky. Apparently she took it so bad she had to get her boyfriend at the time to talk to her outside before she calmed down. Silly thing was, her teeth were just as nice and intact as an Ohioans (which is considerably good, unless you swill mountain dew and don't brush).
