If you use cod than it will be way worst than your silly grits. Use some other fish for gods sake.

Which is supposed to be more repulsive? Because if I had to eat one of them, I'd pick fish.

Michigan has Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Road Construction. Anyways, we have quite a bit of Great Lake coastline, and shitloads of internal lakes as well...

My view of Ohio is:
1. Overrated
2. Closest spot in the US where we can buy real fireworks
3. They stole Toledo from us

I am growing adept at identifying an Ohio accent through the internet.

And as for the grits/lutefisk thing, nothing, please.

Philistines. :P

Shrimp and grits (with a little ham gravy on top) is one of the tastiest things ever.

Hey, we needed Toledo to give us at least one 90 degree corner. Without Toledo, Ohio would be really weird shaped. And yes, no matter how much you insult Ohio, it is still overrated.

Corn. Everyone not from the Midwest, Iowa and/or Nebraska assumes we give a shit about it, that we talk about it or that it's funny. Fucking Family Guy did a bit on it, so it MUST be a valid stereotype that makes you hilarious and/or creative to spout.

Everyone in the Midwest knows it's all about the Meth. Morons.

Ah, I see many of my fellow Midwesterners have already set the record straight.

But-

But corn is an important staple food in many nations! It's not a shame to care about corn - be ashamed when corn stops caring about you!

I'm just scared that Corn has any feelings at all. Damn you corn gene manufacturers; we never should have tried to play God!

Not to mention seed corn is a huge animal fodder crop, literally feeding the American livestock industry.

Too bad most modern corn is practically inedible.

Are you sure?  We have to go out of state to get fireworks too.

Also, North Carolina didn't invent flying.  We did, you were just where we did it.  Menlo Park didn't invent the lightbulb, dicks.

Evil Michigan

East and West Ohio have different accents, and also depending on how far into the rural parts you get into. I felt myself turning into a Kentucky hick while I spent my time in the south-east side, along the river.

One friend, who had liked me at the time and lived all of five minutes into the border, took offense to me making a joke about dentists in Kentucky. Apparently she took it so bad she had to get her boyfriend at the time to talk to her outside before she calmed down. Silly thing was, her teeth were just as nice and intact as an Ohioans (which is considerably good, unless you swill mountain dew and don't brush).
