Any stereotypes on Switzerland?

Something about being neutral.

Dare I ask what people have to say about California?
Valley girls. Like, totally nothing but valley girls.

Here's a video on the Canadaian stereotype, it may be a bit off topic, but it's still entertaining, it's called "Everything you wanted to know about Canada, but were too afraid to ask" It's by a guy called Rick Mercer, he hosts The Rick Mercer Report. (Like the Daily Show, but it's been around longer)

EDIT: It would probly be good if I posted the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yi1yhp-_x7A

Any stereotypes on Switzerland?

Neutrality. Cold, hard neutrality. Oh, and knives, clocks and chocolate.

Did you forget the "Talking with Americans" skit?

That thing was hilarious.

Militant opposition to any infringement on their culture? And specifically swiss army knives, and something about your culture on how they have a corkscrew on 'em. And a few others my brother will inform me of when he comes home on a vacation from there while bringing his Swiss wife along.

Does anyone honestly care about Minnesota? I mean, really, if that entire state vanished into thin air would you care at all? I wouldn't. There's nothing signifigant about that state I can think of.
Wisconsin would care. We all have relatives in your state.

I'm near Seattle. Yeah, people seem to think that that (and its weather system) is the only part of washington. But we have mad-max worthy scenery a few hours east over the pass.
And if you go even further, you actually run into some nice forests and mountains.
I thought everybody knew about that. Albeit rainy there's tons of great wilderness territory out here. We even have rednecks (hillbillies to be more precise)!

Dare I ask what people have to say about California?
1) Potheads.
2) People who complain that it's too cold.
3) Morons who are pious about being 'green' but don't actually understand it.
All of these groups are largely considered Californians here.

Well lets see. To me Switzerland= Cheese, Mountains and Postmen that carry special guns (I don't remember where I heard this)

And to my dad, California= People with tattoos and multiple piercings who smoke weed and pretend to care about the environment. Can you tell he's mega conservative?

Let's see if I can find the John Stewart segment where they interviewed the a Swiss ambassador or something... it pretty much sums it up. Here we are: http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/thu-december-3-2009/oliver-s-travels---switzerland although you will have to skip past most of the actual news part of it

Stereotypically, Ohio is a boring, forgettable state whose only claims to fame are rollercoasters, astronauts, and the tragically bereaved Giant Butter Jesus; and whose chief export is crystal meth.

As an Ohioan, I can confidently say that it's 100% true.
Seconded.

Crystal meth? I thought we were all about our corn. We got our corn festivals, corn on the cob, corn hole, corn squirrel feeders, corn farms, creamed corn, corn husk dolls, roasted corn, grilled corn, corn-fed beef, all natural cornseed oil, the corn derby, indian corn, corn syrup factories, hell even our cars now run on corn.
