Even if that is the case, it was still quite a WTF moment. I'm just starting up my military, cranking out my first leather armor, when that idiot takes over the workshop to pursue his frantic dream of making a sandal.

When my friends and I played with gasoline and lighters, making flame throwers in my backyard.
I had spilt gas on my pants and someone literally lit my crotch on fire.

Oh wait DF related?

I was attacked by an angry Panda with ichor for blood.
Destroyed my castle in three minutes.
Killed it then butchered it happily, but then found out all that blood was poison.
Bad news for my entire dwarf population that was eating the meat after starving in the desert.
