To avoid being a day behind and needing a retcon, on day 4 I'll tell them that I was acting in self defense, the fuel depot attacked first, and I'll offer the police pizza if they let me go. For my day 5 actions, I'll drive to the next city as my only action if they do free me, otherwise I'll ask to be deported back to England, preferably with my truck.

So what better way to attract mechanics than host a comedy tour, in which the cost of admission is "working on a truck". You don't know if it it will work, but hell, why not? You're charismatic as it gets, so you tell your groupies to spread the word, so you drive from town to town. Each town your truck gets better, even though the jokes you tell get worse. By the end of the process, your truck is as good as new.

You call the local pizza delivery place and order a pizza. Shit.  You don't think you're going to get home before it gets there. You see an obese, shady looking cop as you are being walked to your cell. You stop at his desk and beg  "Hey! I'll give you $100 and a pepperoni pizza to get out of this! I'm innocent anyway!"

That night, your cell door is opened. Officer Obese escorts you out, returns your belongings minus $100 and a pizza.

1. ACQUIRE MOTOR VEHICLE 3 You go to "CRAZY LARRY'S REALLY GOOD CARS INC" and acquire a human vehicle in poor condition. You believe it to be of antique status, and of the color iron oxide. He sells it to you under the condition "You get that piece of shit off the lot right now, and it's yours for a hundred" Apparently this vehicle is titled "Piece of shit" and has problems with all major subsystems. It's going to take some work to fix. You hand him your last remaining currency and assess the vehicle.
2. REPAIR "PIECE OF SHIT" 6+2=8 Human vehicles are primitive and trivial to work on. You take out your multifunction repair tool and get to work. Using parts found in the "CRAZY LARRY'S REALLY GOOD CARS INC" dumpster, you start to reassemble the vehicle. You find a large engine from a human-child transport, a transmission from a large truck, and a tank of flammable material that is likely human airplane fuel. You have acquired 8 more wheel and tire assemblies to handle traction. After finishing your construction , you've deemed this the "fastest human vehicle". It's fast. REALLY FAST. (+1 score)

You cleverly manage a trade with a local junkyard owner. You'll get the parts to build the cannon, and he'll get your car. But you have plans ! Your car is alien technology now, and cannot be allowed to fall into human hands. At midnight tonight, your car will start up and leave the junkyard and return to you. You wring your hands together at your wonderful plan.
2. BUILD LARGE ARC CANNON(pt 2) 1(+2/skill) = 3 Well, the parts that were traded to you were substandard. How were you supposed to know that human toaster elements were ill suited as fuses for arc cannons? You have a feeling this Arc cannon is going to have exactly one shot before requiring complete rebuild. 

Your car returns to you under autonomous control at midnight, exactly as you had planned.

3. MOUNT LG. ARC CANNON TO CAR 2(+2/skill) = 4 The arc cannon has been mounted. Your road-warship is now suitable for cargo transportation through dangerous places.  You feel kind of homesick... it's alot of work to transport cargo on the Human world. Why don't they invest in repulsor technology?

1. Add steam engine to truck : 6(+2 skill)(+2 only action) = 10  You watch a TV documentary on trains. You think, well, they are more efficient at transporting huge amounts of cargo, so why not convert your truck into a locomotive? You go to a junkyard and purchase a large boiler from a decommissioned power plant, and you proceed to add a steam engine to your truck. You select a jet turbine to be driven by the steam pressure, and have coupled it to 6 drive wheels using a dozen automobile transmissions, double reduction out of the turbine for each driven wheel. You've added another 53' trailer on back to accommodate the water reservoir/boiler/turbine/additional drive wheels. This thing is beyond sweet - it is epic. Afterwards you take a painkiller and nap. (+2 score, ridiculous success)

1. OBTAIN CARGO 6(-1/alien) = 5 You go to a local truck depot where you are sure you will not be recognized. You pull up your car and ask to procure cargo for delivery. The cargo master looks at your vehicle, determines its storage volume is small, and hands you a cardboard box filled with data-free papers(blank paper, rarity 1) and says "Take this to my cousin Dean, in North Carolina". You thank him for trusting you with this cargo and prepare yourself mentally for this journey. Why is that man laughing ? Perhaps he believes you will not deliver his cargo in a timely manner.
2. DRIVE 2 You find it difficult to drive this "PIECE OF SHIT". Humans drive so abysmally slow on their roads, and avoiding running into them is infuriating. You make it only 200 Human-miles.
3. DRIVE 1 You make it another 100 human-miles before the heat-exchanger loses coolant at a prodigious rate. This is an easy fix, but you are beginning to get demoralized. Human technology is awful.

You now have an official DOUBLETRUCK LAND TRAIN. Now You are going to figure out a way to get all that coal into your boiler. (+1 score, things are getting more ridiculous) You escape without a problem.

You are driving to your destination but you apply too much force to the acceleration linkage and the front end of the car raises in what human-language refers to as a "Wheelie". While impressive, the wheelie is stopped by the rear axle of the car coming apart and blowing shrapnel all over the road. Anger is an emotion you currently feel as you sit helpless in your disabled vehicle (+100 distance)

3b. Attempt Repair 2+2=4 You can put it back together if you can find enough human land vehicle rolling rubber bearings (wheel and tires). You gather up what you need .. it's funny, the whole world seems to be a junkyard.
