What if you could hook the alarm system up to preassure plates, so if an enemy were to trip them, alarms go off, civilians to burrows and military to stations. i think it could be an interesting strategy, any counter ideas and stuff? (sorry if been suggested, didnt look to hard to see if it was )

While a bell trap is a distinct possibility, we can already do this by linking a pressure plate to a column holding up a single floor tile near the military barracks. Upon triggering, it causes a small cave-in and wakes up everyone sleeping in the barracks.

I also remember this being mentioned before, but my search-fu on this forum is weak.
