Hey, you could find some woods or something. Unless your world is primarily desert, I suppose.

Anyway, name it BloodWater.

I don't think the map generator is complete, yet. For one, they removed rivers from this beta.

And you'll have to see. 8)

Anyway. Name the town WaterWater.

How about BloodBlood, instead? =p Or RedBloodSanguineVeinJuice?

Bloodwater doesn't sound too bad, though. Anyone else care to chime in?

Care to make a choice, ladies?

Or should I call it Bloodbrew? 8)

I'll flip a coin, otherwise.

Bloodbrew Abbey sounds decent. Let's settle near the oasis, but not next to it. We want to have a harbor up quickly, too, so settle halfway between the oasis and harbor spot if you can.

Bloodbrew Abbey or Bloodbrew Keep? The trouble is that you're currently unable to rename cities, hence why I'm so anxious about this. =p

We'll have to research the technology first. It's not hard to make a straight line to it, though. I think it's gardening->fishing->harbour.

Bloodbrew Abby sounds better than Bloodbrew Keep, to me.

The Epic of Bjorn Bone-Breaker: Sovereign of Tarth
I founded Bloodbrew Abbey, today. I told my landlegged servants to leave me alone for awhile, whilst I made sweet love to the ground. I imagined it lush, filled with greenery. I imagined it ripe and bearing the weight of civilization.

It worked.

Well, it sort of worked. The desert did not transform as well as I thought it might, and I heard my supposed servants snickering behind their backs. I will grind their bones into meal, one day. Did they truly expect a man to be able to do it perfectly on his first try? Disgusting dogs.

I decided to search the land for a short time. I met with two women, both of whom were instantly attracted to me and asked me if I needed of their services. I told them to head to Bloodbrew, and to work there for awhile. One was a warrior, and the other claimed to be an administrator. I think that's a person that uses siege weaponry.

I also discovered a plot of fertile land, untouched by the cataclysm that led us to be the strong creatures we are today. I used my new land impregnation abilities to found a city there and to take advantage of it. It worked much better this time. I named the city Skullshatter Keep, and headed back towards Bloodbrew.

On my way, I came across another survivor of the cataclysm. The man had a mountain for a chin. His chin made me quiver in fear, as it heavily reminded me of the old stories of the Old Man Chinchin, a terrifying tale of a chin that ate a man and then became him. It is from my homelands.

I finally returned to Bloodbrew, where I was informed that they had finally worked out how to catch fish. My dogs are very clever.

Bloodbrew has changed a great deal since I was last here, and the land seems to be recovering around where I founded the city. I am a brilliant man, an amazing warrior and a wild lover. I am a god.

Spoiler: Fishing (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Bloodbrew Abbey (click to show/hide)

All three of my women seem to be interested in me, and I suspect any of them would fly out of their clothes as soon as I crooked a finger at them. I wonder which one I should pick?

Spoiler: Raline the Weaver (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Rilis (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Gara (click to show/hide)

(( Okay, folks, time to choose our wife, who gets to sit at home and pop out babies. Raline will give us kids that provide us with an extra bit of cash per turn but weak physical stats, Gara will give us kids that give +10% production in the town they're stationed in but weak physical stats and Rilis will give us kids with high physical stats but little else. We'll also lose the ability to risk Rilis in battle, since it's currently impossible to remarry and we need her to pop out babies for us. Your choice, gents! Added poll. ))

Ladies, we need to hurry this up. Beta 2B is coming out this week, and that means you get to piss about with the magics.

Our children need to be trained in Producion, so we can overwhelm our enemies like locusts!

...By the way, when do we go to war?

...By the way, when do we go to war?

The whole war mechanism is pretty terrible at the moment. (Which one of the start up screens lampshades.) The computer players aren't developed enough in AI to make any armies stronger than just guys with clubs. It's mainly feature testing at this point in time. I think Beta 3 is when AI and Diplomacy are getting put into the game.

Since it's not possible to show you the start up screen that talks about the War and the Magic not being put in the game, I'll give you this instead. =p
