Recently, I realized that the interrobang (‽)is not a part of the DF tileset, and I know that there has to be some kind of item or something that it would be good for. let's see...

can anybody think of what kind of item the ‽ could possibly represent?

Interrobangs aren't part of the ASCII symbols so they can't be used unless Toady puts 'em in specifically.

O.K. I was just kidding about that... that would probably mean a lot of re-writing just to let the game read another row of Icons, not to mention the fact that all the old tile sets would die.

What stop you from taking the current tileset and switching one of the characters for your interrobang thing?

We're also missing the letters Thorn (Þþ) and Eth (Ðð) both of witch are used in Iceland.  We're also missing the copyright and trademark symbols, as well as the many symbols used in dictionary pronunciation keys including schwa, at least 30 Greek letters, and the entire Cyrillic alphabet.  The only practical use for these symbols is to internationalize Dwarf Fortress.

I'd prefer for the bows to look like bows, but that'll have to wait until we can have one tile per object type...

Copyright might make a better Hatch symbol, or alternatively it could be a Chair and Trademark could be a table.
