Dwarf Fortress haiku
« on: June 16, 2010, 01:04:23 am »

They vomit in the sunlight,
Caked in blood and mud,
Puppies and kittens taste good.

Five seven and five.
That's how you make a haiku.
Here's a good example.

But Capntastic,
how else can you pronounce that?
I want to know now.

Back to topic now,
the construction of haikus
I'll give it a shot

Dwarves that dig too deep
how am I to manage them?
They are too rowdy

hey, I like this stuff
I think I will post only
in haiku's from now

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.

If we're gonna nitpick each other to death, why do you pluralize haiku by adding an s?  Plural of haiku is haiku.  Furthermore, why an apostrophe?

Edit:  Just noticed you have an apostrophe in one 'haiku's' and not in the other.  This is some serious outsider art business.

Well noticed, capn.
I'm ashamed of my mistakes,
all grammatical.

Grammar nazi hell,
I have erred in my spelling
and punctuation

P.S. to Capn,
I was only curious
It confused me lots.

DJ wants seasons
I shall rain down blows on him
like petals in spring.
