That was utterly hilarious, especially when some of them got to the reactors.

Equally hilarious was getting the gun constantly going BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOM that drained 700k worth of energy within seconds unless i had an entire section of fusion reactors.

Bloody hell, a row of Big Berthas is way more cost effective.

Where do I get standard maps? Which ones are common? Which ones are popular? Which do you recommend for a beginner?

I think the thing you download for mods/maps is something that spring should have associated with it, so you just "run" the file and Spring does its thing with putting it where it needs to go.

As for which maps...  I dunno, pretty much just get what people are playing.  Again, I suggest using SpringDownloader or SpringLobby.  You have to "register", in that it wants a name and password...  but nothing else.

Heh, but if you get enough energy, its like a machine gun Big Bertha. Literally, if you get it running within base rage that base is going to be leveled in minutes. I tried it on a SSM map, it worked as a defence and leveled the base. Fun fun.

Personally, I hate the darn things.  Too big, too messy, too inefficient.  Fun.  Very fun.  But not really worth it.

If I put my steam client back online it will demand I update all my games, which makes them unplayable till I do so(still a stupid feature).
