I played a couple 1v1 games yesterday.

Seems like every match I play is completely one sided. Either I completely destroy people and there's nothing they can do about it, or they completely destroy me and there's nothing I can do about it. I don't think I've had any close matches since I started playing.

Should try FFAs. They can go either way. Plus, there are times when you get breaks, so its less stressful. Its not like people are attacking everyone at once.

Also, I said I was only availble to play for a couple hours. Guy has to sleep, ya know.

"Edit" Well, im up for a game for quite a while. Just need a server. Might try playing a few games in the mean time and hope I dont get mauled for my connection.

The advanced walking bombs for the core basically create mini nukes.

I downloaded the game. Do I have to also install a mod? I tried to play without a mod, but it asked me to selected a mod and a map (there were none available); I didn't, and the game crashed and said I needed to selected a mod.

Spring is basically just an engine for creating/playing RTS games.  The "mods" are basically the games themselves, so yes, you have to download the Balanced Annihilation mod.  You also have to download any maps you play on.  Using SpringDownloader or SpringLobby greatly simplifies this.
