Uhm, the server list is the list of servers where you join a game, and I know you know what it is because you just specifically mentioned joining a game...

In the server list, when you select a server, if you don'thave the map you get the option to download it in the bottom left.

WAR EVOLUTION TOURNAMENT
War Evoluion is a modification that focuses on single unit fight, rather than strategy. In WE, You command a single Mech, using superior firepower, tools, or maneuvers to defeat the other team.
Your mech can gain 6 levels, each level brings you a new extra (like   weapons, armour or shield). All extras are completely visible and   randomized, so every game can be different, even with the same mech.You can switch between 2 main guns in game by clicking on or off.   So you have one weapon for shorter range fire support and one for long   distances.You can select one out of 4 different mechs, each is very   different from the other mechs and has its own abilities and skills.A lot of weapons don't do much physical damage but a lot of   impact damage. That means that your mech can be thrown short distances   in a direction, you don't want him to be. This can be very useful to   fall back, or to separate mechs from their team.



THE MECHS
  Wargod The wargod is the strongest, but also slowest Mech on the   battlefield. With his strong plasma cannons he can shoot over long   distance and with his gattling guns hes able to attack in close combat   with dealing high damage. The wargod has the strongest armour and the   highest regeneration rate. 

   Black KnightThe Black Knight is the Close Combat Mech. He is the fastest   mech, but is weak in ranged combat. With his flame thrower, he can even   beat a worgod. He is the only mech who is completely stealthed. He also   can jamm radars in on mode.   

   Werewolf The Werewolf is a Combat Engineer Mech. He has medium speed,   low Hit Points and only medium weapon power. But he has the ability to   build defence turrets and repair other mechs. WARNING: he can only have 2   towers at the same time or they wont shoot anymore. 

   StormlordThe Stormlord is the mine layer and long range artillery mech.   He is armed with a long range artillery which can shoot over mountains   and crush defences while staying out of range of the enemy turrets. He   has the ability to heal other mechs, but only very slow. He also can   build two types of mines to build traps.


SO WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS ABOUT?!
It's about fun. I would like to propose organizing team tournaments, in 3v3, 4v4 and 5v5 formats.
Battles will be fought in 3 wins scenarios, over alternating maps. Once the team wins the round, they gain a point.
I really hope there's some intrest for this. Oh, reward? You're having fun damnit, that's your reward. Okay, maybe a line in the first post if OP is feeling generous.
To enter, I only need the team name, participant names, and selected format.

Bump for the great justice. Also putting a server up, so people can get a feel of this mod

Thats probably my fault :D

But we need to spice thing up a bit, and how much more spicey can you get than a free RTS that can host up to 64 player? :P

Wasn't the first Halo game capable of holding up to 64 players?
Every Halo game's multiplayer could only support a maximum of 16 players, notwithstanding the fact that they are FPSes and not RTSes.

Bleh, I fail. When I select a server, I join it, and then when I exit out of the battle, it fails, as I mentioned before. A screenshot of the server lists would be helpful so I know what im looking for.

"Edit" Maybe I should ask this. Do I look through Spring Downloader, or Spring Lobby?

Also, trying to find maps via that website, I came across one website. I found this map. It doesnt say anywhere that it is a BA map...does it have to be? I mean, can the map work for all of the series?

I think maps for most engines are inter-compatible. I seem to recall that EvolutionRTS has some special things, but that could be false memories. Anyway, today we played a round of DA on a Spring 1944 map, so it's very possible.

I tried to join you guys before and spectate the match, and it just came up with a connecting to server screen then kicked me back out to the sping browser. Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks. I downloaded a 1vs1 map that was like 3mb for a test and had some fun. There are so many units.  :o

I think I got the basics down. Couldnt get to tech 2 for vehicles and Kbots though, was a water map.

Aaaah, Spring. I mostly enjoyed setting up some AI's and then turning on .nocost so they'd just spam units at each other. It was fun, but only because of the explosions, lasers, and occasional giant bombing runs.

They made a tower defense mode called Chickens. I've played it, but it kind of requires 4 players to be fair.

Hmm...I've never been a big fan of CCGs - I mean, I did and still do collect Pokemon cards, but I never got heavily into the battling and trading thing.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.

It seems that it's impossible to spectate a game that is already in progress, which is a load of shatbull
