(Gah, I've got some beaching to do. And photobucket is being a bastard. Help? Also, Fuzzy, do you want to extract the strands, too?)

No, just smith it.

Again, you obsessed over building a freaking rock chair, rather than getting your ass over to the Trade Depot. But yeah, humans are fucking lazy.

I told snook to stop working, I needed someone to go trade.

Although that's a habit from 40d, where I'd use highly stat'd legendary appraisers/bookkeepers as melee troops. Probably not so useful any more.

Hooray for derails! Also, I might need a few extra days to finish at the rate I'm moving. Damn family wont leave me alone. I might be able to get on the internet once if I lucky tomorrow. And the day after too.

If the year and a half is too much (or whatever fraction left over from Pies was), just play the year or whatever and I'll get us adjusted back to spring transitions on my turn.

Bwahahahahaha

For future reference, where does strand extraction take place again? Like I said way way earlier, I've never actually processed adamantine.

You give a crafts dwarf the labor strand extraction, and he goes to his workshop and spends a month getting a strand out of the raw adamantine, which you can then melt down into wafers to use as bars, or make cloths out of it.
EDIT: Yeah, no way in hell I'll be able to get a full year in. I'm going to pack up the save as soon as I get to spring.
