Tried making a Go thread once, but it died. Anyway the KGS server rates me as an 8 kyu but I say I am only 10 kyu. And soemhow it knew I got better overtime  :o....Just changed my level after I played on goproblems.com for a while.

im up for this. Went through the tutorial posted. downloaded panda-glgo and lost to the most basic AI. Ive registered on Kgo as de5me7 (same as ere). Im willing to play anyone just dont expect me to last long.

also does any one play shogi? i dont but it looks interesting

Shogi is chess where the pieces move differently. The only different is that in shogi you can use captures peices.

Just keep playing. I got a 20k? after 3 games and the ? went away after my next one. I'm currently an 18k, but I keep beating 16ks, though I haven't done any better than that.
