Sing a traveling song while driving.

Edit: I'm gonna be gone over the weekend.  So in the unlikely scenario that you get a turn up before Monday, don't wait up for me.  I'll just keep on truckin.

1. Create and tie off a guiding light.
2. Scan the forest we're passing through, looking out for bandits and other dangers.
3. Take a nap.

umm ive never really figured it out, what does tying a eave off do?

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

it allows a weave to continue without you being able to see it and without using up one of your weaving slots. however the knot rolls not to come undone, and some weaves are dangerous to leave unattended.

Turn 13

Actions:
Players:

Quote from: Bleddin (wolfchild)
1)hold onto the charge, if lief spots anything similar to a highwayman, I launch a lightning bolt at it/them, also attempt to weave healing on Flintus at the same time
6+2 you hold the source well 7 you hold the lightning weave but it doesn't gain a charge. 2 your attempts at weaving healing fail, all you manage to do is confuse yourself (-1 on concentration and weave rolls till end of compressed turn)
2)hold onto the charge, if lief spots anything similar to a highwayman, I launch a lightning bolt at it/them, figure out how to heal without incapacitating
15-1+2 you control the source well (xp gained)  18-1+3 you hold the ligtning weave, it gains 2 charges, but you accidentally let one lose, 15 it bolts out the window hitting a cow 14 somehow, it survives, with just singed fur 16-1 you strain yourself  weave an entierly new weave around flint at the same time as the lightning weave, and you can tell that it would work if you were more powerful. especially if you want to weave it at the same time as something else. (learned weave, cannot yet be used, weaving slot added)
3)hold onto the charge, if lief spots anything similar to a highwayman, I launch a lightning bolt at it/them, attempt to create a weave that leaches heat(if I have figured out how to hold onto two weaves, if not attempt that by creating a guiding light)
16-1+2 you hold the source perfectly 17-1+3 you again overdoo the lightning weave it gains 2 charges and you have to let one loose 14 this one spreads out causing minor discomfort to everyone. (-1 on physical this turn) 15-1-1 you weave air and water just so, it causes a netlike weave that if applied to an object or area will significantly lower the temperature by pushing the heat outside the area.
Quote from: Frelock
Sing a traveling song while driving.
11 you sing a decent song while driving, 3 yu are so busy singing you don't notice much
Quote from: Drangar
1. Create and tie off a guiding light.
18 you grab at the source (xp gained) 7+2 and hold the source 16+3 your little guiding light turns out ot ne a fireball 14 you manage to shrink it back down 15 you tie off the fireball ( xp gained it will roll each turn to stay tied, it will also roll to not grow you can still use it to get a +3 bonus for a fire weave but it will consume it))
2. Scan the forest we're passing through, looking out for bandits and other dangers.
1 your control of the source is lost long enough for it to surge! 13 you manage to get it under control though 13 you watch the area for anything that might be a threat, but it's rather boring here
3. Take a nap.
18 you control the source perfectly. you decide to have a nap 4 but you just cannot sleep (xp gained in control)
Quote from: Shinobe, the Silver Dawn. (USEC_OFFICER)
Keep watch. Again. Also, attack any highwaymen not blasted to bits (If they appear.)
1 you fall off you horse just before lief falls off the carriage 8 you only sprain your ankle (pain sprained ankle)
Quote from:  Flint (Flintus10)
Anyways I will continue to relax and rotate taking watch with Lief
4 you don't make a very good watcher as you don't notice much other than the poor singed cow (what is it doing in a forest anyway?)
NPCS:
Quote from: Lief Goddard
keep watch
5 he has a nap instead
Keep watch
12 he wakes up to see that nothing is really happening.
keep watch
3 he managed to fall off the carriage 6 and breaks his leg.

So, we almost there yet?

If Lief is still injured I heal him, otherwise I try to reshape the guiding fire into a sword.
Edited because we don't get three actions this turn.(almost forgot to change this)

So, we almost there yet?

1. I heal Lief.
2. I try to reshape the guiding fire into a sword. Or if that's too difficult(probably), I use it to create a flash of light.
3. I offer to take over driving for Frelock. If he doesn't accept, I take a nap. Either way, I release the source(and get rid of the fire sword if I end up making one).

one more turn will get you there, but you'll need to spend at least a turn to get everyone back in vehicles first
creating a sword out of fire isn't too hard, it's a rather basic shape, in fact it's on of the first things rand managed to do with the source conciously, and you guys are potentially as powerful as him, depends on the dice

Ah, good. I knew Rand did it pretty early, but he always had a massive amount of raw power, it's just shaping it that took some practice... that actually describes most characters in RTDs though come to think of it. Capable of breaking reality, but with almost no control over it.
