What? All the way from Tar Valon? And being trained there? You would think that they would give you a horse if your mission is important.

What mission? We're traveling as a group, but we don't seem to have any specific task. You aren't even here guarding anybody.

So were travelling in a group, with about 25 gold marks between us, and no horses? The Aiel can run as fast as a horse, if not faster. Does that make sense to you?

We could have been in this town for quite some time and just recieved orders by say a letter that would explain why we don't currently have horses.

hmm i've come to the conclusion that i don't like the story i had planned. i really only had a skeleton of challanges with a general plan for the plot. se we really have 4 options in the immidiate future, i wing it, somone else writes a story(possibly replacing me as gm), i try to come up with a new plot to fit what has happened so far (i can't think of anything that i think would be fun) or we just let it die :(

i really do want to see an rtd set in the WoT universe but i don't feel i will be good enough to do it justice, what do you guys think?

Doesn't matter if the plot isn't perfect I was fine with the writing so far if you have read the books through once you should be able to come up with some kind of story. I mean you could change the setting slighlty if you wanted without affecting the turns we have already played through.

If you can't think of a pre-planned story, you can just try writing it on the fly, throwing in good ideas as you have them.

im winging it in mine, and if i didnt tell my players that i was they'd still think i had it planned, however i have the advantage of having made up the world (read just the rules of the world, the rest, including all the terrain is not made untillthe players go there) Keep it going, winging it really does work, even if the players can tell, what matters is that people have fun, and i personaly am having fun

Quote from:  Flint (Flintus10)

Quote from: Drangar
I summon a guiding fire then say to the stranger "So, what brings you here?" while staring into the flame.

It flows into you, a raging ocean of fury that threatens to scour your very mind away, or burn you to ash in an instant, 6+1 you force it into submission with ease 9+1+3 You hold your right hand out and weave strands of fire in a complex lace. a small ball of fire leaps into existance above your right hand, 8 you whisper just loud enough for the man to hear "So, what brings you here?" you glance up from the flame to see the man pale and start gabbering something about a great lord ordering him to see to you. He suddenly draws a dagger and stbs you in the 5 stomach 2-3 you were not expecting an attack after you intimdation and fail to block the attack 12-4 you manage to hold onto the source but you release the weave. xp gained in guiding light, fire, grasping the source and conrolling the source. wounded in the gut, heavy bleeding -5 physical in pain -4 mental)

Somehow disarm the man, if the weave fails. At least pull out my weapons.

Remove Frelocks spear and give it back. And while there is probably nothing to gain from capturing the stranger I will rush in and protect the Aes Sedai while they attempt to disarm him.
