Frelock is an unusual aiel it seems, most of them avoid horses (riding them anyway)

Flintus10: I'll ask Lief to help purchase a horse and while the others deal with buying it I will keep an eye on the suspicious man.

Dragnar: I pay for my share of the food, then walk over to the strange man and sit next to him, saying nothing.

9+3 you ask flint to help you pay for the horses, he agrees and hands you his spare coin, you hand your bracelet to frelock, and after he completes the transaction he passes you back 3 gold marks 14 you keep an eye on the suspicious man, and watch what unfolds as dragnar sits next to him.
8 You give frelock 2 of your marks to help pay for the horses then board the carriage. 3+1(mental) you open yourself the the source, it flows in like a river 5+1(mental) you take perfect control of the flow 2+1(mental)+3(control) however when you attempt to make a ball out of air you just make a loud bang.
10 you accept the coins from Flint and Bleddin and purchase the carriage and 2 horses 17 you convince the inkeeper to teach you, he prattles off do's and don'ts and hows and whys and tips and how to care after the horse. you feel you get the gist of it. the innkeeper decides he likes you so much that the food you bought is on the house +3 to ride a horse or drive any horsedrawn vehicle.
10 you purchase a third horse from the innkeeper for 2 gold marks.
7 you go to pay for your food, but the inkeeper tells you that is already taken care of 15 so you sit next to the suspicious stranger he seems very nervous to have you so close.
