That works, but we'll still need to track the cargo size.

Can't we just calculate that from the unit stats? In my experience, units are usually only carried once or twice and then not carried. And if they're carried often, it's fairly easy to remember or calculate (or both, sort of) the cargo size.

This is Captain Frederick. It is unfortunate that I must resort to threats, but we will be forced to dispense nuclear annihilation if we are not rescued soon.

Uh... I wasn't really paying attention, sorry... What's all that stuff with Captain Frederick about? He sent us down to establish colonies while some other guys stay on the ship, right? And people are rebelling? Is he going to blow up the rebels with nukes?

We arrived on a big, interstellar space vessel, we then landed on these two planets with our own little coloniser boats. The captain is on the big vessel where a civil war has broken out between the political factions about how the human race should proceed from here.

I, for one, will be calling his bluff. The man can just hold his damn horses, and we barely have the capability to get into orbit at all, much less mount a rescue operation. Even if somebody tried, they wouldn't be able to get into orbit until the turn after next at the earliest. Most of us on Krigg are too busy preparing for war to go gallivanting after superior officers.

Furthermore, is he really going to destroy the remnants of humanity because he's annoyed at not being rescued? He sure as hell wouldn't be getting rescued if he did that, anyway.

To Captain Fredrick. "This is the Sovereign of Ardania located in the city of Valmorgen. We have been monitoring your situation and have been working on a craft to retrieve you. It should be completed shortly and will be launched to your position. Please hold tight while we reach you."

Well, he's going to blow up the rebels because it's blow-up or be blown up. I think it would probably be best to rescue him - but unfortunately, as Wimdit said, we just don't have the resources yet. Anyway, Nirur Torir probably doesn't want us to actually send rescue ships. It's just a nice bit of plot.

But I'm already about to have a ship ready to go up there... Oh well, at least we'll get to see what the system looks like.

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

I think the Valmorgen actually costs 75 industry.
You have Engines 3. The first 6 engines cost 3 points. Then the next 6 engines cost double, 6 points. That's 9 points total. 12 points with the weapons and armor. 16 points with cargo.
Your size limit is 3; (14 industry)(16/3)=74.66=75 industry.
